Dr. Brogi is a graduate of the School of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence, Italy, and obtained her Ph.D. from the Italian Ministry of Research, Rome, Italy. She completed her residency in anatomic pathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by surgical pathology and cytopathology fellowships at the same Institution. She joined the Pathology department at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in July 2000 and has been practicing there since, with a focus on the diagnosis of breast diseases. She is an Attending Pathologist and the Director of the Breast Pathology Team at MSKCC. She is also a Professor of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Brogi held the position of Officer and is currently the President of the International Society of Breast Pathology. She was a member of the Education Committee of the United States and the Canadian Academy of Pathology.
